Junior Front End Developer

The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative HTML / UI Developer with extensive experience in developing responsive websites, complex UI, web applications and websites specifically in HTML, CSS & JavaScript. You must also possess a strong knowledge of web application development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in developing responsive website and UI elements using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience in converting given designs into functional web pages and UI.

Responsibilities:

  • Convert designs into pixel perfect responsive functional pages and UI
  • Communicate with internal & external teams and complete the tasks successfully in agreed timelines.
  • Develop functional components, UI using JavaScript programming.
  • Troubleshoot and fix UI issues in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Analysis of websites and understand the website structure.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent HTML/HTML5 & CSS skills
  • Excellent JavaScript coding skills and jQuery. Must be able to program simple scripts in JavaScript to make the UI dynamic.
  • Responsive web design using media queries & Bootstrap framework
  • Excellent communication skills in English is a must.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and decent design sense with ability to notice defects, issues and resolving them promptly.

Nice to have skills:

  • Development skills in PHP and WordPress is a big plus.
  • Experience of GIT and source code versioning
  • Development skills in frameworks like ReactJS, VueJS.
